Upcoming event: Luminova

Light, energy and technology come together at Thor Park

From 30 October to 8 November 2026, Thor Park will be transformed into the setting for the very first edition of Luminova: a magical evening walk where light art, technology and innovation take centre stage.

Along an atmospheric route, you will discover impressive light installations, interactive experiences, audiovisual effects and surprising shows. Thor’s industrial heritage will quite literally be seen in a new light.

Luminova is part of FTI Festival Genk-Hasselt and takes visitors on a journey through the past, present and future of energy.

Upcoming event: De Duystere Markt

Where the strange feels at home

On 12 and 13 December 2026, De Duystere Markt returns to Thor Park for a weekend filled with curiosities, oddities, dark art, handmade creations and alternative culture.

Spread across no less than 6,000 m², you can discover more than 300 carefully selected exhibitors, complemented by performances, music, workshops and unique experiences. From extraordinary art and obscure finds to surprising creations you will not encounter anywhere else, De Duystere Markt is anything but a traditional fair.

The unique industrial setting of Thor Central completes the experience and once again provides the backdrop for one of the most distinctive events of the year.

Upcoming event: Limburgia Tattoo Convention

Where ink meets art

On 3 and 4 October 2026, the Limburgia Tattoo Convention returns to Thor Central for its third edition. For two days, the site will be dedicated entirely to tattoo art, graffiti and creative expression.

International tattoo artists and graffiti artists bring together their style, craftsmanship and creativity in Thor’s raw, industrial setting. There are no traditional competitions; instead, the focus is firmly on quality, authenticity and connection between artists and visitors.

Whether you are a tattoo enthusiast yourself, looking for inspiration or simply curious to discover the scene, Limburgia brings international tattoo culture to the heart of Genk.

Notti Magiche
La dolce vita at Thor Central.

With Notti Magiche, Thor Terrazza gets a generous dose of Italian flair. Expect a summery mix of live music, great food, refreshing drinks and, above all, plenty of atmosphere.

During the Ferragosto edition, Thor Terrazza was entirely dedicated to la dolce vita, with various live acts and an Italian culinary experience from the afternoon until late in the evening. An event made for enjoying together, raising a glass and dancing in a unique setting at Thor Park.

The concept was created by Jordy Nell and Giuseppe Fiume, inspired by their shared passion for atmosphere, music and the Italian way of enjoying life.

RNBeats
One venue. Endless R&B vibes.

With RNBeats, Thor Central presents its own event concept where music, atmosphere and experience take centre stage. The concept was created by Jordy Nell and Giuseppe Fiume and has grown into an evening for fans of R&B, urban sounds and iconic classics.

Expect a strong line-up, good vibes, drinks and a setting entirely focused on enjoying the moment and dancing together.

RNBeats is more than a party: it is an evening full of energy, atmosphere and music at a unique location at Thor Central.
